Calling this list "temples" is a stretch, since half of it is canyons, caves, waterfalls and a bamboo bridge, with only three actual wats in the mix. Wat Pa Tam Wua is the one I'd single out, a quiet forest temple built around caves that far fewer people bother reviewing, which tells you plenty. Most sit within a short ride of Pai town and cost nothing beyond gas.
