Painting Group 1: Pha Taem

Pha Taem is one of northeastern Thailand's most significant prehistoric rock art sites, where ancient paintings estimated to be around 3,000 years old are preserved on the face of sandstone cliffs overlooking the Mekong River. The artwork depicts fish traps, elephants, human figures, and geometric patterns, offering a rare and tangible connection to the communities that once lived along this stretch of the river.
