Wat Chedi Chet Thaeo

Wat Chedi Chet Thaeo is one of the most significant temple ruins within the Si Satchanalai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Sukhothai Province. The temple is renowned for its cluster of seven interconnected chedis — "chet thaeo" translating roughly to "seven rows" — built in a distinctive Lanna and Sri Lankan style that sets it apart from the better-known temples of Sukhothai city itself. The site is believed to have served as a royal funerary monument and remains one of the finest examples of 13th to 15th century Thai Buddhist architecture in the region.
