Malika Terrace
Perched above Patong with panoramic views over the beach and bay, Malika Terrace is a rooftop restaurant and sky bar that draws visitors looking for a scenic, atmospheric dining experience. The elevated setting makes it a popular choice for special occasions, with couples and groups alike drawn to its romantic ambience, particularly around sunset when the views are at their most dramatic. Guests can expect a full dining menu alongside cocktails at the adjoining sky bar. Reviewers highlight the pasta as a standout dish, and the food has received consistently positive feedback. The service receives particular praise, with staff noted for being attentive and personable — going so far as to help guests find the best spots for photographs. The combination of good food, striking scenery, and warm hospitality gives the venue a well-rounded appeal beyond just the views. A practical note for visitors: the sky bar is an open-air space and may close temporarily during heavy rain, as some guests have experienced. In that case, dining continues at the adjoining Malika Terrace restaurant. For special occasions, making a reservation in advance is advisable, and arriving before sunset is recommended to take full advantage of the views. The venue is located on Phrabaramee Road in Patong, making it accessible from the main beach area.

Visitor Reviews
We came here for my birthday and had a reservation at the sky bar. Unfortunately, the bar was closed due to heavy rain before, so we went to the adjoining restaurant Malika Terrace. Food was good, atmosphere as well even though I need to come back once the weather will be fine to sit in the bar with the lounge seating areas which is much nicer. Personally, I am always sceptical, if the Menü has almost everything from Spaghetti, to burger, to Thai food and wage steak. But what we had was good. Make reservation it could be very busy.
It was the PERFECT 2nd year anniversary for me and my boyfriend 🥰 Pair, Sky, and Hin provided excellent service and were so sweet! Especially Pair who offered to help us take pictures in the best spots of the restaurant. Highly recommend everyone to come!
Malika Sky Bar in Phuket is a must-visit! The views are stunning, the atmosphere is incredibly romantic, and the service is top-notch. You'll be wowed from the moment you arrive—definitely deserves 5 stars!

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
