ZAIKA KRABI THAI & INDIAN SEAFOOD, RESTAURANT
Sitting near the boat ferry ticket point at the far end of Ao Nang Beach, this mid-range restaurant brings together Thai and Indian culinary traditions under one roof, with a particular focus on seafood. The dual-cuisine format makes it a practical choice for groups with mixed tastes, and the menu spans everything from tom yum and sweet-and-sour fish to Indian curry preparations like Kadai Vegetable. Standout dishes noted by repeat visitors include the fried fish in sweet-and-sour sauce and the tom yum, with spice levels reportedly handled well on request. The atmosphere is casual and simple, fitting comfortably within Ao Nang's relaxed beach town character. The restaurant draws a loyal crowd, with some visitors returning multiple times during a single trip. Cleanliness is frequently praised, and the happy hour offering of 100-baht highballs adds appeal for those looking to combine a meal with a drink. Service is generally attentive, though experiences have occasionally varied, so expectations are best kept measured. Good to know: The restaurant opens daily from 11:00 to 23:00, covering lunch through late dinner without any weekly closures. No booking information is publicly available, so arriving during off-peak hours — early lunch or mid-afternoon — is a reasonable strategy during the busy season. Casual beachside attire is entirely appropriate.

Visitor Reviews
This cozy Thai-Indian restaurant is conveniently located near the boat ferry ticket point at the far left end of Ao Nang Beach. The ambiance is simple, and the food ranges from average to good. While the butter chicken was a bit bland for my taste, the garlic naan stood out as excellent. The chicken biryani, though mild in spice, was well-prepared to suit a western palate. The chef recommends several popular dishes, including chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, garlic naan, and cheese naan. Pilau rice and jeera rice are also crowd favorites. For dessert, the mixed fruit with ice cream is worth trying. The Thai menu offers classics such as pad Thai, fried rice, and vegetable spring rolls. They also provide set menus: a vegetarian option for 270 baht and a non-vegetarian one for 360 baht. The staff are friendly and engaging, creating a welcoming atmosphere. For those who enjoy a drink, there’s a full bar with a happy hour running from 11 AM to 9 PM, offering cocktails and a good selection of wines. The restaurant is open daily from 11 AM to 11 PM, with prices falling in the mid-range category. If you’re in Ao Nang and looking for a mix of Indian and Thai flavors, this spot is a decent option to check out.
My husband and I went here for lunch. We were greeted right away and had beers within a few seconds. Waiter was helpful and helped me pick a dish out to help fit my diet. I had the Kadai Vegetable and onion naan. It was GOOD. the perfect amount of spice and very flavorful. My husband had the pizza- we are from America, pizza was just fine I think the way to go is Thai of Indian food. The pizza did scratch the itch. I would for sure eat here again!
We were here 3 times and the food was excellent, tasty and for a great price. Happy hour with 100 baht highballs were the icing on the cake. That and how clean their restaurant was. We highly recommend the place for your eats and drinks.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
