Visitor Reviews
Siam Center is part of the iconic shopping cluster at Siam, which includes Siam Paragon, Siam Square, and Siam Discovery. Personally, I find this area even more fun and vibrant than Central World. There are frequent live music performances and events held here, creating a very lively and energetic atmosphere. It’s incredibly convenient to access—just get off at BTS Siam station and walk through the Skywalk to get right inside. This is definitely a must-visit spot when you’re in Bangkok! #SiamCenter #SiamBangkok #BangkokShopping #ThailandTravel #VisitBangkok #SiamSquare
Slightly more enthusiastic version: This mall stands as the definitive lifestyle hub of Bangkok, masterfully blending its classic charm with a cool, contemporary vibe. It delivers a complete shopping experience, home to legendary flagship stores alongside a wealth of intriguing, avant-garde brands. The food and beverage options are vast, and getting here is a breeze thanks to the direct BTS link. What truly sets it apart, however, is the stunning visual merchandising—each store's interior and window displays are thoughtfully designed and absolutely captivating.
Siam Centre is enormous & has a huge number of shops & restaurants. There are escalators everywhere for you to access each floor. The stores sell clothing (men’s, women & children), toys, fresh food, designer shops, fast food stores, perfume & make-up, handbags, designer clothing, sunglasses, jewellery etc.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
