Captain Nui ดำน้ำแสมสาร กัปตันหนุ่ย
Captain Nui runs boat-based snorkelling, freediving, fishing, and squid fishing excursions from Samaesarn, a quieter coastal village in Sattahip district, roughly an hour south of central Pattaya. The operation offers both group and private charter trips to nearby reefs, giving visitors flexibility depending on their budget and group size. The combination of activities — from exploring coral formations and tropical fish to hands-on fishing and squid fishing — makes it a well-rounded day out on the water rather than a single-focus tour. The crew is consistently praised for attentiveness and patience, particularly with first-timers. Freediving beginners and experienced snorkellers alike report feeling well looked after throughout their trips. Guides are knowledgeable about the local marine environment, and the team is noted for providing photos and videos of the experience. On some fishing trips, fresh catches are prepared as sashimi on board — a detail that stands out in visitor accounts. Good to know: Booking in advance through their Facebook page is strongly recommended, as trip availability and departure times vary. Morning departures generally offer the best water visibility. Bring reef-safe sunscreen and a rash guard for sun protection, and factor in travel time if coming directly from Pattaya, as Samaesarn is not walking distance from the main tourist strip — the team can reportedly help arrange transport if needed.

Visitor Reviews
Private charter trip, freediving, including fishing and squid fishing. We caught lots of small fish, which we released back into the water to grow. 🐟🐟🐟 The staff were incredibly attentive and provided excellent service. They took tons of photos underwater. Every shot was stunning, every pose was perfect. They kept coming back until we were completely satisfied. They stayed by our side the whole time. I felt sorry for the underwater photographer! 😂 They even taught us underwater posing techniques and freediving tips. They found beautiful and sheltered dive spots for us. 👙🤿 We finished off with plenty of grilled shrimp and fresh sashimi. 🍤🍣 If you're looking for a private trip and freediving lessons, I highly recommend Instructor Nui, Captain Boat. Their service is like family, and they'll win the hearts of underwater photography enthusiasts. 🥰
This is my first free diving trip and I’m so pleased that I made the right choice. Captain Nui and his crews are very special. They are experienced people, so friendly, helpful and polite. Me and my family are so impressed with their best services including knowledge and advice regarding diving. The boat is great and of course safety comes first with Captain Nui. Our first time free diving memories are kept in photos and VDO clips by the crews. The onshore facilities are also clean and well maintained such as bathrooms, toilets and waiting areas. They also have varieties of diving gears for rent at their office with good price. Highly recommended. 😊🤿💦🐟
We had an amazing experience on this snorkelling tour. The team was so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, which made the whole trip feel relaxed and enjoyable. They took great care of everyone on board and made sure we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. They also took lots of photos for us which was nice.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
