Yoga With Ping 요가 Chiangmai Healing Space
Located on Ratchawong Road in Chiang Mai's Chang Moi area, this intimate yoga studio is built around the teaching of Ping, whose warm, energetic approach has earned a devoted following among both travellers and locals. The studio offers a range of class formats, including themed sessions focused on specific areas such as shoulders and hips, multi-day retreats, and beginner-friendly instruction — making it accessible regardless of experience level. Visitors consistently highlight the thoughtful, healing atmosphere and the sense of genuine care that goes into each session. Classes incorporate varied techniques, including chair-assisted yoga, and Ping's ability to guide students clearly through unfamiliar movements is frequently praised. The studio functions as more than a fitness space — reviews describe it as a healing environment where sessions are carefully structured and the overall flow feels intentional. First-timers report feeling comfortable and encouraged, while more experienced practitioners appreciate the depth of instruction on offer. Good to know: Opening hours and class schedules are not listed online, so it is worth contacting the studio directly before building your visit around a session. This is especially relevant for travellers with a fixed itinerary or those hoping to book a multi-day retreat. The Ratchawong Road location is within walking distance of many guesthouses and hotels in the central Chiang Mai area, making it straightforward to incorporate into a longer stay.

Visitor Reviews
I have attended wonderful two day yoga retreat with teacher Ping. Thank you 🙏 Every detail—from the practices to the setting and the overall flow—was so thoughtfully put together, and it truly created a space to rest, reconnect, and be present. Your care, calm guidance, and intention were felt throughout the entire retreat. I’m leaving with a full heart, a clearer mind, and a deep sense of gratitude for the experience you created for us. Thank you for sharing your energy, time, and passion. It was really special time. Joanna
Amazing experience doing shoulder & hip focused yoga. It was my first time using a chair but Ping guided us through the flow expertly. She has great knowledge and explains very well. Everything is prepared for you so you just need to show up. The session was the perfect level of challenging but also she provided hands-on support or adjustments if anything was too difficult. I also love the use of balms and scents to enhance the experience. Will be back again - thank you so much!
Ping is an amazing yoga teacher! I have done 3 yoga classes during my stay in Chiang Mai and I did enjoy all of them. Ping is super friendly, helpful and has such a good energy. She and her mum even took me for a lunch to their favourite restaurant and I spent couple of hours with them. I did eat delicious Thai food and learnt more about Thai history. What a great experience, thank you Ping! I am planning to come back to Chiang Mai and do yoga week in Ping's studio.
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
