divana Lana Spa @ Chiang Mai
Nestled on Rat Uthit Road in Chiang Mai's charming Wat Ket district, this upscale wellness centre is part of the respected Divana spa group, which operates multiple branches across Thailand including Bangkok and Phuket. The Chiang Mai location carries the same reputation for quality, drawing both first-time visitors and returning guests who have experienced the brand elsewhere. From arrival, guests are welcomed with a cold towel and a refreshing drink — a small but telling detail that sets the tone for the experience ahead. Private spa suites complete with shower and changing facilities give each visit a sense of personal space and comfort. Treatments span traditional Thai massage, lymphatic massage, and a range of body therapies, all delivered by skilled therapists in a calm, beautifully maintained environment. Visitors consistently highlight the attentive staff and the serene atmosphere as standout features. Good to know: Divana Lana Spa is situated close to Chiang Mai's old city, making it a practical addition to a day of sightseeing or temple visits. Given its strong reputation and relatively intimate setting, booking in advance is strongly recommended, particularly during the peak tourist season between November and February. Arriving in comfortable, easy-to-change clothing will help streamline the check-in process and allow guests to settle into their treatment without delay.

Visitor Reviews
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Without a doubt, the best massage spot in Chiang Mai. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a refreshing cold drink and a chilled rose-soaked towel - such a thoughtful, luxurious touch that instantly set the tone. We were invited to choose our own massage oil before starting our aromatherapy treatment, which made the whole experience feel personalised and premium. The masseuse was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive to our needs. Every movement felt intentional and perfectly executed. The entire experience was simply wow. I had Jane the second time and she is without doubt the most talented masseuse I have ever experienced. We loved it so much that we returned the next day to try the lymphatic drainage massage - and both my partner and I agreed it was one of the best massages we’ve ever had. The aromas of the high-end oils were beautiful, and the attention to detail was next level. You can tell the therapists are true perfectionists who take pride in their work. The reception team are also so warm and welcoming. They answered all of my (many!) questions with patience and genuine care. Shoutout to Pang for her hospitality; so professional and friendly, she’s a real delight to the establishment. We’re already hoping to book a third visit before we leave. If you’re in Chiang Mai, this place is an absolute must. Can’t wait for our third visit before we leave Chiang Mai.
I was greeted with a cold towel and a drink. Then I got to choose the massage oil and afterwards was let to my own little spa suit - complete with toilet shower and a cupboard to put my close in. The footbath, treatment and massage was all done with so much care and no rush at all. Best massage I ever had ( had the office package). To round off the experience I good a hot tea and fruit snack. Highly recommend.
I did the lymphatic massage and it was amazing, exactly what I needed and beautiful atmosphere. My massage lady was the best!! 100% worth the money. I’ll be back tomorrow lol
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
