Visitor Reviews
Super nice and extremely friendly to all guest. Clean rooms and and small cool pool with barchairs inside. 150 meters to the ocean just on the main street for easy access to all restaurants and fun. Highly recommend. From an returning guest.
The place was very near to the ao nang beach. The place and its scenaries are top notch. The only problem was the furnitures were a bit old and not to mention there was no water. It was being repaired in new years eve last year. The owner was humble and good but they should have mentioned there was no water while taking reservation. Made me go through a lot for toilet and regular water usage. The pool was good and the re is also a small restaurant inside so the vibe is great 10/10 but the rooms and the amenities and specially the water works made it a horrible experience. altogether it was a bittersweet experience. But i wont be staying there again unless i check on the water working
We spent two nights at the Palace Aonang Resort. It’s a good option for a short stay, conveniently located just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants. Our room was on the 4th floor facing the main street – clean, functional, and had everything we needed for a couple of nights. However, there’s no lift, so it might be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, decent value for money and very handy for exploring Aonang. The swimming pool was not operational and really not inviting.

Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
