Krabi Heritage Hotel
Situated in Ao Nang, Krabi Heritage Hotel serves as a practical and comfortable base for exploring one of southern Thailand's most popular coastal destinations. The hotel sits within a five-minute walk of the beach, with restaurants and shops close at hand, making it an easy choice for travellers who want convenient access to the area without sacrificing comfort. A free beach shuttle service adds further appeal for those who prefer not to walk in the heat. Rooms are consistently praised for being clean and well maintained, with some offering sea or mountain views and small balconies. The outdoor pool provides a relaxed spot to unwind between excursions, and the breakfast receives strong marks from guests for its variety and freshness. Staff are noted for being friendly and attentive throughout. The hotel's location makes it particularly well suited as a launching point for day trips, including kayaking through the nearby mangrove forests. For those planning excursions, it is worth researching tour operators independently before booking through the hotel, as quality can vary. Ao Nang is a busy tourist hub, so travellers seeking a quieter experience may prefer to visit the surrounding beaches and islands on weekday mornings. Checking the hotel website directly at krabiheritage.com for current room availability and rates is recommended, as price levels are not standardised across booking platforms.

Visitor Reviews
Good located, nice hotel with excellent service, beautiful rooms, and clean. The pool is nice, though some older German guests sometimes reserve sunbeds and leave for hours – not the hotel’s fault. We skipped breakfast after reading reviews. There are many nearby places with great breakfast options, so it wasn’t a problem. Overall, we are very satisfied. Our room was not near the nightclub, so it was relatively quiet at night. The hotel offers activities like visiting the elephant sanctuary and transfers to chosen destinations. 👌
Highly reccommend, loved everything around here. Staff very welcoming and kind. Perfect location, you can reach everything from there. Breakfast very tasty, high variety, fresh every day. Also clean and nice pool. I can’t take a star for air con, but it is very very very and very loud. No mode for it to function less noisy.
Got the mountain view rooms - small sized balcony but the rooms were great. Can also see the sea. Breakfast is great. Amenities are great. But you are booking this for the access to ao nang Everything is just minutes walking Loved the stay

Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
