Street Food Jomtien Beach
Located on Jomtiensaineung Road near Jomtien Beach, this open-air evening food strip draws a mix of tourists and locals looking for a casual, relaxed dinner in a beachside setting. Rather than a traditional Thai street food market, the atmosphere here has evolved over time — visitors today will find a blend of vendors, including grilled chicken and som tam stalls alongside Western-style options such as crepes, ribs, and fried snacks, making it a reasonable choice for mixed groups or families with children. The setting retains a nostalgic, unhurried feel that regulars appreciate, and the beachfront road location adds to the appeal as an evening outing. The vendor lineup tends to be smaller than older photos might suggest, so it is worth exploring the full stretch to find what is available on any given night. Those specifically seeking traditional Thai street food should come with adjusted expectations, while those after a relaxed open-air dinner with variety are likely to find something to enjoy. Good to know: The strip operates every evening from 6 PM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Arriving earlier in the evening gives the best choice of vendors and a less crowded experience. Cash is recommended as smaller stalls may not accept card payments. The location is convenient to combine with a walk along Jomtien Beach before or after eating.

Visitor Reviews
Not really street food here but the food carried by the sellers.. very nostalgic.. still tastes as good as I can remember.. well the dried squids getting (at least half size) smaller. Been here when we were kids. This might be old time things but never outdated!
I live near the beach so I visit it quite often, this may not be the most beautiful beach and is very much family oriented, everyone enjoys this big spacious beach but if you are into making noise and being loud it may not be for you, it's good for gatherings setting up your table on the afternoon shadows as nightfall approaches, drinking your beer or soft drink having your dinner next the water with a nice ocean breeze , happy travel
Not Thai street food. More Western and Russian. Perfect for kids with nuggets, chips and racks of ribs and steak. Phones were on charge back at hotel so alas no photos. We had a delicious crepe filled dessert which was absolutely delicious, Im hoping to find it again. It was like eating a soft meringue cloud ☁️

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
