Buakhao Market Street Food
Tucked alongside the bustling Buakhao Market on Soi Buakhao in Pattaya, this street food hub operates as an open-air food hall rather than a single restaurant. Multiple small kiosks line the space, each specialising in different Thai dishes, and vendors are known to work cooperatively — meaning diners can order from several stalls and eat together at shared seating. Menus, photos, and prices are displayed at the front of each kiosk, making it easy to browse and order without language barriers. The atmosphere is casual and unpretentious, drawing a mix of locals and visitors looking for a genuine, affordable Thai meal. Food quality is consistently well-regarded across the stalls, with clean preparation and generous portions available for both dine-in and takeaway. The location makes it a natural stop after exploring the shops, bars, and clothing vendors that populate the surrounding street. A practical note for visitors: the venue sits under a metal roof with fans throughout, which keeps things comfortable in the morning and evening but can feel warm during the afternoon heat. There is no website or listed phone number, so planning around this is best done by simply arriving — it is conveniently positioned opposite the main Buakhao Market and easy to find on foot.

Visitor Reviews
The great street food of Thailand on Soi Buakhao market . This lady , her name is Wan , has been making my food for a few years already . Always delicious and served with a big smile . Personal favorite is Kaeng Panang ( Phanang curry ) Never forget to help your local store and at the same time helping yourself with some nice food .... You can find this small restaurant at the left side ,right in the corner , when you enter the covered street food market . Highly recommended.
Clean and tasty meals with cheap prices. Take away and dine in available. Strongly recommended.
Good choice of Thai food found in most markets. Nice place to sit and drink or eat after a long walk looking at the many bars in Soy Buakhao. Also clothes & bags are sold nearby.
Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
