Tesco Food court
Located inside the Lotus's (formerly Tesco) retail complex in Bo Put, Koh Samui, this food court offers a straightforward and budget-friendly dining option for shoppers, locals, and travellers looking for a no-frills meal. It operates as a typical Thai supermarket food court, making it a convenient stop rather than a destination in its own right — though its low prices and accessible location give it genuine practical value. Visitors can expect a casual, self-service atmosphere with a rotating selection of Thai dishes. Standout options according to regulars include basil rice, Hainan-style chicken rice, and sushi priced as low as 10 baht. Quality is consistent with a standard food court experience — some dishes impress more than others, and the Pad Thai has received mixed feedback. The food court sits adjacent to a children's play area, making it a particularly convenient choice for families with young children. It is worth noting that the wider shopping complex has seen a decline in foot traffic over time, which can give the centre a quieter feel than expected. Opening hours are not confirmed online, so it is advisable to visit during standard daytime shopping hours to ensure the food stalls are fully operational. Payment and ordering systems may follow a prepaid token or card system typical of Thai supermarket food courts, so arriving with some cash is a sensible precaution.

Visitor Reviews
Great price and section next to kids play park so good for families.
Just typical thai food court even though little sad as the whole center is much less popular and less traffick around is well visible. There are still some decent stores but indeed business ain't as in the past prrcovid and especially when atesco used to be the join venture of Lotus.
Food was good and prices are very affordable. Nothing fancy as it’s a food court.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
