It keeps a rougher, more traditional atmosphere: a covered open-air hall, tiered seating around a single ring, gamblers signalling odds through the later rounds, and a bill that runs from skinny teenage prospects to experienced stadium fighters and the occasional foreigner from a local camp taking a step up in competition. An evening runs eight to ten fights over about three hours, opening with the youngest fighters and building to the main event. The rituals are intact — every fighter performs the wai khru to live pi chawa music — and the crowd is a genuine mix of Thai regulars and visitors, which is increasingly rare at beach-resort fight venues. Ticket tiers are simple: general seating or ringside, bought at the stadium or through hotels and street agents. Good to know: fight nights are typically once or twice a week, with schedules posted at the stadium and around Patong — confirm the night before rather than relying on printed flyers. Buy at the box office to skip agent markups. The stadium is a 10-minute walk inland from Bangla Road, so it slots easily into a Patong night out; arrive by the third or fourth fight to catch the better bouts.
