The Hut Bar Hua Hin
The Hut Bar sits along the bustling strip of Soi 80, one of Hua Hin's more relaxed daytime and evening hangout zones. It falls squarely into the girly bar category that defines this stretch of road, so visitors who know what they're walking into tend to enjoy it — cold beers at wallet-friendly prices, a funky and unpretentious vibe, and friendly staff. There's also food available, which reviewers note looks worth trying, making it a viable stop for more than just drinks. The atmosphere is casual and sociable, with pool on offer and the kind of easygoing energy that suits a slow afternoon or a long evening. It's not trying to be anything other than what it is — a straightforward, no-frills bar where the drinks are kept cold and the prices stay low. That honesty is part of the appeal. Good to know: Soi 80 tends to pick up as the day warms up, so early arrivals may find the strip quieter than expected — late morning visits on weekdays especially can be slow. The bar opens daily at 11am and stays open until 1am, making it one of the more consistent options along the strip regardless of the day of the week. Budget travellers will find the pricing comfortable throughout.

Visitor Reviews
Just used the bar but food looked good also.
My first visit to soi 80 was on a hot April day. I'd been told by a local friend that Soi 80 was the best daytime hangout in Hua Hin. Maybe I was early, maybe because it was Sunday or my friend has a different idea on what daytime partying means but the soi was mostly empty and devoid of any real fun - except for this place with a fitting name - the Hua Hin Bar. Friendly staff, low cost beer and happy hour specials that last into the night - what else do you need? You'll find in Pattaya. ;)
Nice place to be. Everybody very kind for you. Real cold beers for a nice price

Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
