Analog Cocktails & Records
Analog Cocktails & Records is a cozy speakeasy-style bar nestled in a quiet, dimly-lit residential area not far from Chiang Rai's famous Blue Temple. The intimate setting, low lighting, and carefully curated record playlist create a relaxed atmosphere that feels like a genuine neighbourhood discovery rather than a tourist trap — the kind of place locals and travellers alike find themselves reluctant to leave. The drinks program leans into Thai flavours, with standout cocktails like a Thai milk tea-inspired creation that regularly draws praise from visitors. Classic cocktails such as Negronis are also well-executed, and the bar staff — including bartender Jazz, who is frequently mentioned by name in reviews — are known for being warm, attentive hosts who contribute significantly to the overall experience. Prices are noted as slightly above average but considered fair given the quality and craft on offer. For those exploring Chiang Rai's evening scene, Analog makes a natural stop after visiting the Blue Temple earlier in the day. As opening hours are not listed online, it is worth checking ahead before making a special trip, particularly if visiting outside of peak evening hours. The bar shares space with a restaurant, so arriving hungry is not necessarily a problem either.

Visitor Reviews
Not too far from the blue temple, but it's nestled in a quiet dimly-lit residential area. Cocktails were very good, especially the one inspired by thai milk tea. The playlist was EXCELLENT and set us in a chill, relaxed mood. Dont miss this if you are looking for a nightcap in Chiang Rai.
Comfy speak easy bar located on the same space of one of my favorite restaurant. Staffs are friendly, drinks are delicious, a bit pricy but reasonable for the quality and taste . One of the place that I feel comfortable to come alone ( even the chairs are very comfortable too )
Cozy cocktail bar in Chiang Rai with a super friendly vibe. Great music, chill atmosphere, and really well-made drinks 🍸🎶 Perfect spot to unwind in the evening. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxed night out!

Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
