Lotus's Krabi
This Lotus's hypermarket anchors a well-rounded shopping complex that functions as one of Krabi's more practical retail destinations. Beyond the main supermarket floor — which covers groceries, fresh produce, clothing, and household essentials — the complex includes a food court, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bubble tea stalls, a Dunkin' Donuts, and a cinema. It draws a predominantly local crowd, giving visitors a genuine sense of everyday life in Krabi rather than a tourist-facing retail experience. The food court is a particular draw, offering a wide variety of affordable Thai dishes in a clean, air-conditioned setting. The overall layout is straightforward and easy to navigate, parking is plentiful, and staff are generally noted as helpful. The complex has undergone renovations in recent years and is considered more modern and spacious than comparable options nearby. A useful practical note: the complex sits outside Krabi town proper, so travellers staying centrally will need their own transport to reach it. A Big C store is located a short distance away along the same road, making it easy to combine both in a single trip. Visiting on a weekday tends to mean quieter conditions, and the air conditioning makes it a comfortable option during the hotter parts of the day. It is a reliable stop for stocking up on supplies before heading to the islands.

Visitor Reviews
Down the road and a short distance away from Big C store is the Lotus Superstore. Somewhat newer, more modern and larger in size but the concept is the same all over Thailand 🇹🇭. A branded anchor tenant with lots of other shops and food center houses in a single complex. Lotus is More crowded meaning that locals prefer coming here? There's also a Cinema here. More restaurants here too!! Including Swensens, KFC and MK.
Couldnt find the cinema on its own. It was hell finding a good screening in the whole town, we ended up here, and we did not regret it. The staff was very helpful, their terminals were not working, and they did not speak english, so it was quite tricky to get over that, but it was more funny than annoying. The room had good temperature, the screen was alright, we had no issues at all.
A great complex now revamped and better than ever. Far more than just a supermarket and department store. There is still plenty of parking and now more restaurants, cafes and specialty stores. Just hoping that eventually more English speaking movies will be shown in the Cinema!

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
