Krabi Streetfood Night Market
Located along Thanon Utarakit in the Pak Nam district of Krabi town, this street food night market draws a sociable mix of locals and travellers every evening of the week. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with vendors setting up stalls in a lively open-air setting that comes alive from mid-afternoon onward. The food selection covers considerable ground, from classic Thai dishes like pad Thai to meat skewers, Vietnamese spring rolls, coconut milk fried rice noodles, and a range of desserts and drinks. For the more adventurous, at least one stall serves fried insects including mealworms and crickets. Vegetarian visitors are also catered for, with dedicated stall options available. Prices are notably low, with some items starting as cheap as 10 baht, making it an easy option for budget-conscious travellers looking to eat well without spending much. The market operates daily from 15:00 to 22:00, so arriving earlier in the evening typically means shorter queues and stalls fully stocked. As with any busy street market, it is worth browsing all the options before committing to a stall, since vendor experiences can vary. Comfortable walking shoes and lightweight clothing are practical choices given the open-air setting and Thailand's humidity. There is no website, so no advance planning is needed — simply turn up and explore.

Visitor Reviews
Amazing market with lots of different varieties of meat dishes, desserts and drinks. They ever had a stand serving fried insects suck as meal worms, crickets, and other bugs I don't know name of The owner wouldn't allow us to take pictures of the cooked bugs. Food was delicious and very cheap! Krabi has 2 night markets. The one we went to was only about 8 minute walk from our hotel. We'll try outother one in next couple of days.
There is a wide variety of food and drinks available at very cheap prices. I recommend the Vietnamese spring rolls for 10 baht, the egg skewers for 20 baht, and the Thai pancakes starting at 20 baht. You can enjoy delicious and filling food for a very low price.
There is a vegetarian stall! Had tried coconut milk fried rice noodles, it tastes interesting. And also leek pao, with sweet sauce, not bad. 🎬2025.6.16

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
