Compare prices
Tucked along Rat Chiang Saen Road in the Haiya district, T2B Hostel offers budget-friendly accommodation in a central Chiang Mai location within easy reach of the city's temples, night bazaars, and transport connections. Clean, comfortable, and consistently praised for its homey atmosphere, this hostel draws solo travellers and backpackers from around the world who are looking for more than just a bed for the night. What sets T2B apart from comparable hostels in the city is its host, Sky, whose warmth and attentiveness are cited across virtually every guest review. Visitors describe her as genuinely caring — checking in on guests, helping with local recommendations, and creating a welcoming environment that feels far more personal than a typical hostel stay. The social atmosphere encourages guests to connect, and many travellers extend their stay specifically because of the experience she creates. Good to know: T2B operates daily from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM, which suits most travel schedules including early morning departures and late evening returns. Chiang Mai's peak season runs from November to February, when accommodation books up quickly across the city — reserving a bed in advance is strongly advised during this period. The hostel's location on a main road offers practical convenience but may bring some ambient street noise, so light sleepers may want to mention this when booking.

Visitor Reviews
The reviews don’t lie! Sky is truly the most welcoming hostel host ever and made sure I had everything I needed. Do book without hesitation!
I travelled from Mexico and I loved staying at T2B with the most joyful host in Thailand and met some really cool friends here. Sky was so helpful and accomodating that I knew I had to stay a couple more days here, and so I did. You can book the tours right from there and she also has lots of recommendations to eat, travel and activities to do near Chiang Mai. As for the place, location is perfect, everything is close even by walking, you have a lifesaving laundry place next to the hostel and a night market with many tasty and affordable options. Be mindful that the hostel is run by the family and it is also their home, respect the space and the other guests and you will have the best time in Chiang Mai. It offers probably more than you would expect for the money. I left a piece of my heart here and hopefully will be back some day. So in short, staying at T2B Hostel is perfectly splendid 🐘
The place is clean, cozy, and feels very homey. Biggest highlight was Sky — she’s incredibly kind and honestly feels like a mom to all her guests. Always checking in, helping out, and making sure everyone is taken care of. She also gives cheaper prices for trips compared to booking sites and they’ve partnered with her as well so even if the hostel is full, do consider checking her out for discount on trips. Would definitely stay here again once I come back to Chiang Mai. Highly recommend!
