Why go, and how to do it well
Than Mayom is the big waterfall on Koh Chang's east coast, a series of falls on the Khlong Mayom stream inside Mu Ko Chang National Park. The lowest tier is a short stroll from the parking area, and the upper ones take more effort and better shoes.
I'd fit it into an east-coast day with the Salak Phet mangroves and Wat Salak Phet rather than make a special trip, and go in or just after the rainy season, when the falls run fullest. By the end of the dry season there's much less water.
