SAii Laguna Phuket

4.7(4,897 reviews)

SAii Laguna Phuket sits directly on Bang Tao Beach in the quieter Cherngtalay district of northern Phuket, set within the broader Laguna Phuket complex. The resort is known for its relaxed, lagoon-inspired setting, attracting guests seeking a calmer alternative to the busier southern resort areas while still having access to a long, sandy beachfront. Rooms are consistently described by guests as spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with beach-access rooms offering direct views over the water. Club rooms with bathtubs are a popular choice for special occasions. The resort provides ferry and shuttle services connecting guests to other properties within the Laguna complex, which broadens dining, leisure, and beach options without requiring guests to leave the estate. Breakfast receives particular praise, and the outdoor spaces — including day beds — are frequently highlighted as ideal spots for unwinding. Good to know: SAii Laguna Phuket is a full resort property rather than a standalone spa facility, making it equally suited to leisure stays as it is to wellness-focused visits. Bang Tao Beach is at its most pleasant during the dry season, which runs roughly from November through April. Peak season falls between November and February, so booking rooms and any spa treatments well in advance is advisable. The property is most easily reached by taxi or private transfer, as public transport to this part of Phuket is limited.

Visitor Reviews

A great four-night stay at SAii Laguna Phuket — we would highly recommend it. Our room was fantastic, with the day beds a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The ferry and shuttle services were convenient, and the facilities, including the waterslide and games area, were excellent for the kids. A special mention to Jintana (Gift), who was incredibly helpful in the lead-up to our stay and warmly welcomed us on arrival. Thank you also for organising the club privileges, which made the experience even more special. A shout-out to Helena and Dani, who were also wonderful during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the resort and very much look forward to returning in the future.

It is always a real pleasure to work with this hotel and its wonderful team. The property is absolutely beautiful and ideally located, which makes every stay and every event even more special. The staff are truly lovely — kind, attentive, caring, and always very flexible with all our requests. Their professionalism and willingness to help make a huge difference. A big thank you again to all the hotel teams for this new stay and this new event, which was once again a great success, thanks in large part to the excellent collaboration with them. It is always a pleasure to be with them in such a beautiful property.

I really enjoyed the stay here with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. We got upgraded to beach access room, which has the incredible view. The staff, Ju and Mod, the front desk concierges, are super nice, they both gave us very good recommendations on food and night markets around the area. Also, as they knew that our flight was at night time, they helped us to push our check out time until 14:00. Really appreciate that. The only con is the beach is too busy all the time. It would be great if the hotel could build a fence would be great. But overall, the is hotel is really good.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
