Chiangmai3D
Chiangmai3D is a sound healing and meditation studio located in the Sri Phum area of Chiang Mai's historic old city district, specialising in gong bath sessions led by practitioner Wee (Veerauth). The studio draws visitors seeking an immersive wellness experience rooted in vibrational sound therapy, and has built a loyal following among both travellers and locals. Sessions typically take the form of group gong meditations lasting around an hour, during which the practitioner produces layered resonating tones from a Thai gong using only his hands. Visitors report entering deep states of relaxation and meditation, with some describing heightened physical awareness of the sound vibrations moving through the body. A notable feature of the experience is that participants are often invited to try the gong themselves at the end of the session, adding a hands-on and educational dimension to the visit. The practitioner takes time to answer questions and explain the practice, making it accessible to those who are new to sound meditation. As a small, intimate studio, availability is likely limited and advance contact is recommended before visiting. No website or listed opening hours are currently available, so prospective visitors are advised to reach out directly or enquire locally to arrange a session. Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing suitable for lying or sitting still for an extended period is advisable.

Visitor Reviews
The hour long group gong meditation was awesome. Mr. Veerauth is a true master of the Thai gong. He could with bare hands produce very powerful and sophisticated resonating sounds with the gong. You could feel the vibrations in your body. He also explained the use and sound frequency of the gong. We also got to try to use it after session. I warmly reccommend his sessions. I personally found the strong and loing lasting sound of the gong being more powerful than the sounf of Tibetan singong bowls. The gong has in right hands powerful relaxing properties.
I attended a gong bath yesterday and had the best experience!!!! I felt very relax and was able to get into a deep meditation state. Aso, Wi is an amazing teacher!! He was kind enough to answer all the questions I had and we even stayed longer so that we all had a chance to play the gong and share our experience. I would highly recommend his class!! Thank you!!!
I could feel the vibration in the room but I admit my body don't feel much. But I think it's very interesting especially he let us try the gong ourselves after the session. He also tried to explain the history behind which I appreciate. This class is a lot smaller than the one in CM Holistic so I recommend U attend the class here instead.
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
