The Sukhothai Spa
Tucked into the Sathon district of Bangkok, this hotel spa delivers a full wellness experience drawing on traditional Thai massage techniques alongside treatments such as the Turkish Hammam and its own Sukhothai Journey and Royal Experience packages. The setting is designed with calm in mind — treatment rooms are thoughtfully presented and the overall environment is consistently described by visitors as peaceful and restorative. The therapist team has earned particular praise for attentiveness and skill, with guests noting that therapists take time to understand individual preferences around pressure and focus areas before beginning treatments. The signature Sukhothai massage, offered across varying session lengths, is a standout option, while shorter treatments such as the express neck, shoulders, and back massage make it accessible for travellers with limited time. Guests report being welcomed with tea on arrival and guided carefully through the process, making it a comfortable choice for both first-time spa visitors and experienced wellness travellers. Booking in advance is advisable, particularly for longer treatments such as the 90 or 120-minute sessions, as preferred therapists and time slots can fill quickly. Session lengths range from around 45 minutes upward, giving visitors flexibility depending on their schedule.

Visitor Reviews
I recently visited the spa during my stay at the hotel in December 2026. I booked in for the Sukhotthai Journey massage for 120 minutes. Upon arrival, I was greeted with tea and they diligently went over the service and asked questions about pressure or areas to avoid. I then met my masseuse who led me to a private room that was very large and had its own area to shower/change. She washed my feet and did light reflexology before leading me to the massage table where I had possibly the best massage ever. She really listened to me in terms of problem areas I asked her to work on. The pressure was perfect and she included stretching which I wanted. It was very catered to your preferences. I was incredibly impressed with her strength and techniques. I felt like I was walking on air after. Highly recommend, you wont be disappointed!
One of the best spa experiences ever! We had the 120 minute royal experience -Including the Turkish Hammam & full body massage. The whole expérience was great from the booking, to the welcoming by the staff, and of course the actual treatments. Not to mention the property is stunning! Highly recommend, it’s worth every penny! As a bangkok local I’ll be back soon!
I had a great 45-min neck, back and shoulder massage with Tad and she’s amazing. As someone who likes deep pressure it’s not very easy to find someone who can apply good pressure but Tas did a very good job. The setting of the spa is also very beautifully decorated with a nice relaxation area.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
