Mo Chit BTS Station
Mo Chit BTS Station is the northern terminus of the BTS Sukhumvit Line and one of Bangkok's most important transport interchange points. Situated in the Chatuchak district, it connects travellers to the MRT subway network and a network of bus routes, including services to Don Mueang Airport — making it a practical stop for those moving between the city's northern neighbourhoods and the wider transit system. Beyond its role as a transit hub, the station and its immediate surroundings offer a number of conveniences for travellers. Food stalls and eateries are plentiful both within the station and at street level, along with currency exchange facilities and other services. The station serves as the main access point for Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets, as well as Chatuchak Park — a green space that provides welcome relief from the city heat. For practical planning, travellers heading to Chatuchak Market should note it operates only on weekends. Those connecting to Don Mueang Airport should look for bus services at street level near the station entrance rather than on the BTS platforms themselves. The station is air-conditioned throughout, which visitors arriving after time spent outdoors in Bangkok's heat will appreciate. BTS operating hours and fare information are available at bts.co.th.

Visitor Reviews
Mo Chit is a very convenient area and transport hub in Bangkok. It is easy to get around from here, with access to the BTS, MRT, and bus stations all nearby. The area is busy but well organized, and everything feels efficient for commuters and travelers. There are also plenty of food stalls, shops, and places to sit while waiting for transport, which makes it practical and comfortable. Overall, Mo Chit is a great location for getting around the city and a useful place to pass through or start a journey.
After walking around the Catuchak Park on a 34 C day, and getting very Hot, it was such a relief to get onto the BTS train with its lovely cool AC. By the end of my 50 min journey I was very comfortable again. Thanks BTS for the good AC
A really nice bts station which has many eating places on it along with gaming, currency exchange and clinic. In order to visit chatuchak weekend market you get down here. Also there is a large park located next to this bts station.

Tips for Visiting Transportation
Take the Sleeper Train at Least Once
The Bangkok-to-Chiang Mai overnight train in a second-class sleeper berth is a bucket-list experience. Book at least a week ahead via 12Go.asia or at Hua Lamphong station. Upper berths are cheaper and have more headroom; lower berths have a window.
Use Grab Everywhere
Grab is the Uber of Southeast Asia and works across Thailand for cars, motorbike taxis, and even tuk-tuks in some cities. It eliminates haggling and provides fare estimates upfront. Load a Thai SIM or use eSIM to stay connected.
Rent Scooters Carefully
Always photograph the scooter's existing damage before riding off, and keep your passport — give a photocopy instead (some shops insist on the original; avoid these). Wear a helmet; police fine 500 THB for no helmet and accidents without one void insurance.
