NumNum Old Town Cafe & Restaurant
Tucked along Thanon Dibuk in the heart of Phuket Old Town, this café and restaurant has built a devoted following for its unusually broad menu, which spans Thai classics, Turkish dishes, Mediterranean fare, and American-style comfort food alongside breakfast options. The range makes it a practical choice for groups with varied tastes, and the kitchen handles the breadth with confidence — visitors have praised dishes including manti pasta, hummus, syrniki, schnitzel, and local fried rice, sometimes within the same meal. The setting is a genuine draw in its own right. Housed in a characterful Old Town building with exposed brickwork, the interior has an airy, oasis-like quality that feels removed from the street outside. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, and the owner is known as an attentive, hands-on presence — multiple visitors have noted warm, personal hospitality from management alongside prompt service from staff. The space also functions well as a coworking-friendly stop for travellers who need time to linger. Good to know: NumNum opens daily at 10:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM, making it a flexible option whether the plan is a mid-morning refuel during Old Town sightseeing or a relaxed evening meal. The restaurant is halal-friendly, which broadens its appeal to a wide range of visitors. For those exploring the area on foot, the Thanon Dibuk address sits within easy walking distance of Phuket Old Town's main heritage streets.

Visitor Reviews
I recently discovered Num Num Cafe & Restaurant while exploring Phuket Old Town, and it immediately became a highlight of my trip! The setting is beautiful—an absolute oasis with its charming brickwork, lush greenery, and comfortable, quiet seating. It truly feels like escaping into a secret garden from the busy street. What truly sets Num Num apart, though, is the incredible Thai-Turkish fusion menu. They also have many Mediterranean dishes that I really enjoyed as well and would definitely return to try out their breakfast that I heard is quite popular with everyone! I went specifically to try their specialties and was absolutely blown away. I started with the Manti, and the delicate dumplings, perfectly sauced and topped with a cool yogurt, was pure comfort food—easily some of the best I've had outside of Istanbul. I also dug into the hearty side of the menu, trying the NumNum Beyti Kebap and the Sucuk Kofte. The kebap was beautifully presented, the meat perfectly seasoned, and the sucuk kofte offered a great, savory kick. For a true indulgent treat, I recommend the Sucuk Burger with Egg. It’s massive, flavorful, and the addition of the Turkish sausage and a runny egg takes a classic burger to a whole new level of richness. But the most fun dish was the fusion Pad Kra Pao Spring Roll. It’s the perfect marriage of cultures. The quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite, and the service was warm and attentive. If you are a foodie looking for a unique, high-quality culinary experience in Phuket Old Town, Num Num Cafe is a mandatory stop! I really liked how the service was so good as well and everything was served in a timely manner. Their picture perfect garden is also a brilliant place to take some pictures and I think their outdoor seating is ideal on a good day when the weather is just right to sit and enjoy their wonderful food! The prices are also quite reasonable considering the authenticity of the dishes as well as the serving size and it would be ideal to order many dishes and share for the ultimate dining experience! Will definitely be returning here soon whenever I am in Phuket again!
An experience that you wont want to miss. The best local Thai food and Turkish food made for anyone who loves the best of both dishes. Appreciate the hospitality by the staff and the management. They have successfully made a Michelin suitable restaurant for locals and tourists. Price performance also good enough that other restaurants in Phuket Old Town is less relevant compared to this wonderful place. Will definitely come again because i have never got enough of their cooking. Im too full after one portion
Delicious and such an extensive menu! Great for picky eaters and someone who wants lots of options for a large group or themselves. We tried the manti pasta, potato wedges, fried rice, schnitzel, and phad thai and everyone loved their dish. Also don't miss out on the smoothies! The mixed berry and strawberry ones we tried were great! Friendly service, fun and decorative atmosphere too and they were very accommodating with the rain/ thunderstorm.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
