BONNEE - Brunch & Blends
Tucked along Rommanee Road in the heart of Phuket Old Town, this cafe and restaurant draws a steady crowd with its relaxed bohemian atmosphere and a menu that spans both Western and Thai favourites. The setting reflects the charm of the surrounding heritage neighbourhood, making it a natural stop for those already exploring the Old Town's streets and shophouses. The menu is broader than the name suggests. Visitors have praised the English breakfast, tuna croissant salad, shrimp fried rice, pad thai, and mango sticky rice alongside the blended drinks and Thai milk tea that anchor the drinks list. The kitchen handles both comfort food and local Thai dishes, and the staff are consistently noted as friendly and welcoming. A quirky highlight: the cafe has been known to offer a complimentary watermelon smoothie in exchange for a five-star review, which gives some context to the enthusiasm in the feedback. Good to know: BONNEE opens at 10:00 AM every day of the week, closing at 8:00 PM most evenings and 8:30 PM on Sundays, which makes it well-suited for late breakfasts, long lunches, or an afternoon coffee break rather than early-morning visits. No website is listed, so travellers with specific dietary questions or large group plans may want to reach out via social media before arriving. The Talad Yai location places it within easy walking distance of Phuket Old Town's main attractions.

Visitor Reviews
Heads up, they give you a watermelon smoothie for a 5 star review. That being said, we had a great time! We got the English breakfast, watermelon smoothie, cherry cheesecake, coffee. Food took about 10 mins to arrive to our table. We sat upstairs, which was great. Fun view of the balcony and another washroom.
It's an old town restaurant. The cashier is very friendly. This is the best shrimp fried rice I've ever had at Phuket. The tuna croissant salad is very fresh. Mango smoothie Thai milk tea are both delicious. I'll come back when I come to Phuket.
Mango sticky rice was absolutely delicious. The mango was fresh and sweet, and the sticky rice was soft with just the right amount of coconut milk. A perfect traditional dessert .🥰😍😍🤤🤤

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
