Marine Seafood
Marine Seafood is a spacious, open-air seafood restaurant in central Pattaya, drawing both local regulars and visiting travellers with its straightforward focus on fresh ingredients and classic Thai coastal cooking. The menu leans heavily on the sea, with standout options including grilled garlic prawns, steamed lobster, seabass with house sauces, fried prawns, and seafood salads — the kind of unfussy, well-executed dishes that let quality ingredients do the talking. The setting is outdoor with table service, creating a lively, unpretentious atmosphere that suits casual dining rather than a formal night out. There is no air conditioning, which keeps things breezy on cooler evenings but can make the space uncomfortable during Pattaya's hotter months. Service is noted by visitors as friendly and efficient, and the generous seating capacity means crowds rarely become an issue. Operating every night from 6 PM until 5 AM, Marine Seafood is a reliable late-night option — particularly useful after an evening out, when most other kitchens have long since closed. Those planning to visit in the heat of the day should note the open-air setup and plan accordingly. It is also worth coming prepared with cash, as the surrounding area is primarily commercial and card payment options may be limited. Expect to pay for restroom use on-site, a common practice at many outdoor dining venues in Pattaya.

Visitor Reviews
Out door seating with table service. The giant bbq garlic prawns were delicious. Thai food was solid like most places. Tons of fresh seafood options. I like this place!
food was delicious with plenty of seatings. great place to hit after a night of clubbing and drinking!
It is a spacious restaurant, not so crowded with variety of seafood options. No air conditioner thus it is not a wise choice for hot days. Friendly and quick service. I chose seafood salad (squid and shrimp), Som Tam and fried noodle for dinner. The quality of dishes is not especially good but the seafoods are fresh. The prices are reasonable, given the huge dishes that we received.

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
