KASHI CHAAT PURE Vegitarian Indian Restaurant PATTAYA
Tucked along Pattaya Sai Song Road near Boys Town and Walking Street, this compact, fully vegetarian Indian restaurant carves out a distinctive niche in a dining scene dominated by seafood and meat-heavy menus. Specialising in authentic Indian street food and chaat, the kitchen draws on subcontinental flavours that visiting Indian travellers describe as genuinely reminiscent of home — from samosas and chai to classic snack preparations that are difficult to find elsewhere in Pattaya. The setting is small and casual rather than formal, with a modest interior that keeps the focus firmly on the food. Visitors consistently highlight the quality and authenticity of the flavours, and the restaurant functions as both a breakfast spot and a late-night dining option, reflecting the varied rhythms of Pattaya's tourist crowd. It suits vegetarians, vegans, and anyone curious about traditional Indian street food traditions. Good to know: The restaurant operates every day from 8:00 AM through to 2:00 AM, making it one of the few vegetarian options in the area accessible at late hours. Seating is limited, and at least one reviewer noted that staff occasionally occupy tables, so arriving early or during off-peak hours may improve the experience. Check the restaurant's Facebook page before visiting for current menu availability and any updates.

Visitor Reviews
If you're craving authentic Indian street food in Pattaya, look no further than Kashi Chat – a hidden gem for all lovers of pure veg delights! This charming little spot totally blew me away with its flavors, hospitality, and authenticity. The menu is a dream come true for any chaat lover – Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, Bhel Puri, Sev Puri, Raj Kachori, Aloo Tikki Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, Pav Bhaji, and so much more. They even had North Indian snacks like Samosa, Kachori, and Chole Bhature, along with Indian-style sandwiches and fresh fruit juices. Each dish was bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced, and made fresh to order. I personally loved the Dahi Puri – crispy, creamy, tangy, and sweet all at once! The Pani Puri was served with chilled, spicy mint water and sweet tamarind chutney – exactly how it should be. The Pav Bhaji was rich, buttery, and served piping hot with soft buns – comfort food at its best. What makes Kashi Chat even more special is the clean, vibrant ambiance and the incredibly friendly staff. They go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. The presentation of food was neat, and everything was hygienically handled – a big plus when you're enjoying street food abroad! Prices were very reasonable, portions were satisfying, and the taste was pure desi heaven. It honestly felt like I was back in India having chaat at my favorite local joint – but with the bonus of being in Thailand! Highly recommended for vegetarians, families, and anyone who loves Indian flavors. This place is a must-visit if you're in Pattaya!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Desi Vibes, Desi Taste in Thailand! Had breakfast at Kashi Chat Bhandar in Pattaya and I was genuinely surprised — the Samosa and Chai tasted just like the ones we enjoy back home in India. Crispy, flavourful, and served hot — it felt like a bite of nostalgia! The taste is absolutely amazing, super authentic and comforting. If you’re craving a proper Indian breakfast while in Thailand, this is the place to be. And they don’t just stop at snacks — they have a full menu of Indian street food and more. Kashi Chat Bhandar is a must-must go! Don’t miss it!
Today I visited another 100% pure vegetarian Indian restaurant, and it was a really good experience. The food was delicious and felt like home. The place is small but well-managed, with a nice western-style open entrance. Families, couples, and solo travelers can visit. If you’re looking for budget-friendly Indian food, I definitely recommend this place. The service is fast, and the staff is very nice. Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
