Little Boat Seafood Restaurant
Tucked along the coastline near Bo Put on Koh Samui's quieter north shore, this casual seafood restaurant draws repeat visitors with its combination of fresh local seafood, wide-ranging menu, and unhurried atmosphere. The kitchen covers classic Thai cuisine alongside international options — from green curry and Thai-style scallops to burgers and pumpkin soup — making it a comfortable choice for mixed groups or those not strictly in the mood for seafood. The setting is a covered outdoor dining area close to the beach, with soft background music and reportedly a pool on the premises. In the evenings, live musical entertainment adds to the atmosphere without overwhelming the relaxed mood. Staff are consistently described as friendly and attentive, and the kitchen moves efficiently with minimal waiting times. The Bo Put location sits away from the busier resort beaches, giving the restaurant a genuine neighbourhood feel rather than a tourist-trap atmosphere, and pricing is considered good value relative to the quality. Good to know: Opening hours are not confirmed online, so arriving during standard lunch or dinner service times is the safest approach, or ask at your accommodation beforehand. The covered outdoor seating makes the restaurant usable in most weather conditions, though evenings tend to be the most pleasant time to visit, particularly when live entertainment is scheduled.

Lovely Restaurant Near the Beach Great place with a relaxing atmosphere and soft background music. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is amazing with lots of choices my boyfriend said their cheeseburger is his number one! Highly recommended!
No wait & the food was exceptional! We had green Thai chicken curry, pumpkin soup, fresh grilled corn on the cob and Thai style scallops. All yummy and we cleaned our plates! Covered outdoor seating with a nice breeze. Perfect!
Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
