Tulum Skybar
Perched on the 29th floor of the Estrella Hotel along Sukhumvit 63, Tulum Skybar offers a rooftop dining and drinks experience that combines city views with a vibrant, design-forward atmosphere. The venue operates as both a restaurant and cocktail bar, drawing a mix of locals and visitors for evening meals and late-night drinks. A bold red-themed interior and artistic backdrops give the space a distinctive visual character that sets it apart from more conventional rooftop venues in the area. The food leans toward contemporary cuisine, with dishes like ceviche and Hokkaido scallops receiving particular praise from diners for their freshness and quality. The cocktail list is a strong draw in its own right, with visitors noting the drinks are well-crafted and suited to the elevated setting. Service is consistently highlighted as attentive and unhurried from the moment guests arrive. The venue is also connected to Veyla, a neighbouring establishment run by the same team, making it a natural choice for groups looking to extend an evening across both spaces. Tulum Skybar is well-suited to groups and celebrations, with staff experienced in handling larger parties. The Sukhumvit 63 location is accessible via the BTS Skytrain at Ekkamai station, a short walk or quick taxi ride away. Booking ahead is advisable for evening visits, particularly on weekends, and smart casual attire fits the atmosphere of the venue.

Visitor Reviews
We had dinner at Tulum and after midnight also drinks at Veyla for my local friend's birthday celebration. Both establiments are operated by the same good people. The service was excellent and restaurant supervisor Mr. Eren (from Turkiye) was super attentive and professional. With good food, fabulous ambience & top class service from Eren, my friend who is an event organizer will soon contact Area Mgr K. Apicha to probably exclusively book out the whole venue for their client's special events. Well done!
Excellent service the minute you walk in the door. Quickly after sitting down the menus are brought and no rush is made to order. The waiter is very polite and patient. The artistic backdrop with the Halloween theme is cool.
This skybar has a nice indoor area and an outdoor area. I didn't get to try much of the food but I ordered the ceviche and Hokkaido scallops. Both were amazing and fresh. Especially the ceviche and added guacamole extra. But seeing the food from other tables, they look delicious 🤤. They make good cocktails too. Overall a nice sky bar with good music. I believe Veyla will be the more happening version of Tulum but at the ground floor outside. If you are into skybars and uniquely themed decor, and live DJs spinning good beats, this is the place to be!
Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
