Kynd Massage : Phuket Old Town, Thalang Road
Tucked along Thalang Road in the heart of Phuket Old Town, Kynd Massage offers a distinctive spa experience in an atypical setting — reviewers note it shares space with a fashion and food shop, giving it a relaxed, unassuming character that sets it apart from more formal spa venues. Despite the unconventional surroundings, the setup is described as modern and clean, with comfortable chairs and pleasant aromatic scents creating a genuinely calming environment. The massage therapists here draw consistent praise for their technique and attentiveness. Visitors highlight detailed, targeted work on problem areas, with staff checking in throughout sessions to ensure comfort. Foot massages appear to be a popular choice, and multiple guests have returned on subsequent visits or trips to Phuket — a reliable indicator of consistent quality. The team is widely described as professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. On a practical note, walk-in availability can be unpredictable during busier periods, and at least one visitor reported being turned away after a wait due to therapist allocation issues. To avoid disappointment, it is worth calling ahead or arriving early in the day rather than later in the afternoon, particularly during peak tourist season. Given its location on one of Phuket Old Town's most visited streets, combining a visit here with exploring the neighbourhood's Sino-Portuguese architecture and cafes makes for a well-rounded afternoon.

Visitor Reviews
Unassuming but great doot massage in an atypical setting. It's inside a shop selling fashion, food. Very friendly masseuse with good technic. Clean and comfortable chairs and aromatic smells.Came out refreshed and ready to walk for another few hours! Highly recommended.
Amazing massages, amazing and kind staff. They do very detailed work and get to all the areas I felt were knotted and pained. They also check in occasionally to make sure I felt comfortable and good. Would recommend and would come back!
Wonderful relaxing massage - in modern relaxing surroundings. Very professional set up and the staff were amazing. I came with my family for the third time today, which shows how much we liked this!
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
