Tida Massage
Tucked into the laid-back town of Pai in Mae Hong Son province, this small, owner-operated studio offers a personal touch that larger spas rarely match. Tida runs the space entirely on her own, providing Thai massage, foot reflexology, manicures, and pedicures with a level of care and attention that repeat visitors consistently notice. The studio is air-conditioned, making it a welcome retreat from the heat, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere — complete with resident cats — adds to its charm. Pricing is straightforward and affordable, with foot reflexology and Thai massage both available at around 250 baht per hour, and manicure or pedicure services at approximately 350 baht. Tida is known for taking her time with each treatment rather than rushing through appointments, and visitors with minor injuries or sensitivities have found her to be accommodating and careful in her approach. Gel nail work in particular has drawn strong praise for its quality and finish. Because the studio is run by one person, availability can be limited, and walk-in timing matters. Arriving early in the day or checking in ahead of time is advisable, especially during busier periods in Pai. No website is listed, so visiting in person to arrange an appointment is the most reliable option.

Visitor Reviews
I went back again and again to Tida massage on my trip to Pai. I had the foot reflexology (250 thb/hr) manicure, pedicure (both 350 thb) and Thai Massages (250thb/hr) all of them were fab and she is so experienced and professional. The lady (I never got her name ☹️) is so lovely and I would definitely recommend going here for any of her services!! She’s just by herself so best to nip in to book but you can usually get an appointment later the same day. And a bonus, she also has the cutest little cats 🥰
Really friendly owner! She runs the place on her own and offers great service! Paid 350 baht for a gel pedicure. Good WiFi and nice aircon inside was lovely at this stage of travelling in the heat. Her two cute cats kept us company, they slept in the corners. Happy with the result, would recommend!!
I came to Tida for a pedicure when I was experiencing some injuries and she was very helpful to me and careful to not hurt me. She really took her time to tidy up and clean my feet before applying the polish. Overall nice experience.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
