Raylist Rooftop & Bar
Perched atop the Vanilla Moon development in Bang Kho Laem, Raylist Rooftop & Bar offers an open-air setting with panoramic views stretching across the Bangkok skyline — including the skyscrapers lining the Chao Phraya river corridor, Silom, and Sathorn. The elevated vantage point and relatively low profile among tourists make it a quieter alternative to the city's more heavily marketed rooftop venues, with visitors noting quick service and food quality that holds its own alongside the views. The atmosphere leans modern and lively, with a live music band performing most evenings — worth knowing for those who prefer conversation over volume. The outdoor deck is a genuine highlight, and the combined restaurant and bar concept means guests can settle in for a full meal or simply drink through the evening. Solo visitors should note that some drinks are served in minimum quantities, so this venue suits groups or pairs more naturally. A practical note worth flagging: the building elevator reportedly stops at the 8th floor rather than the rooftop level, so guests should confirm access arrangements on arrival or check in advance. Raylist opens at 16:30 daily, and visiting around sunset rewards guests with the best of both daylight and illuminated city views. Extended hours until 2:30 AM on Fridays and Saturdays make it a viable late-night option. Mid-week visits tend to be quieter, offering more relaxed seating on the open balcony.

Visitor Reviews
I thought this place was all about the view. And it kind of is: the view is amazing. You see all the skyscrapers along the river, in Silom and in Sathorn. Since this restaurant is on top of a mall in Chan road there are hardly any high rise buildings blocking your view. But this place is more than just a great view. It has very good Thai food! Leaning towards Isaan but also covering other local Thai cuisines. Definitely going back!
A very modern, Asian, karaoke-style feel at this new rooftop bar / lounge / restaurant. Enjoyed the outdoor deck space. Ordering a draft beer when solo was a challenge as everything served only in mega-party size. Nice team on hand. Did not stay around to sample food. Menu looked good and others have chimed in. Plenty of parking if you’re arriving by car.
It looks like a very underrated place cause there were not many people. The service is very quick and the food is good too. The view from the open balcony is fantastic. The price is worth the quality. Have three different places to sit. They also have live music.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
