Florae Restaurant
Florae Restaurant brings a refined yet relaxed dining experience to the heart of Bangkok's Sukhumvit neighbourhood, earning a strong and consistent reputation among both residents and visitors to the city. The restaurant has built particular recognition for its Mediterranean-leaning menu, with dishes praised for precise cooking and elegant presentation. The atmosphere sets itself apart from typical Bangkok dining — serene and unhurried, with soft jazz adding to a décor that visitors regularly single out as genuinely beautiful. Service is a clear highlight here. Staff are attentive without being intrusive, and multiple diners have noted the care taken to ensure guests feel looked after throughout their meal. The kitchen shows strength across appetisers and mains, and the overall experience — combining food quality, ambience, and hospitality — is consistently described as cohesive and memorable. It is the kind of place that draws repeat visits, with some guests returning within the same week. Florae opens at 6:00 AM and stays open until midnight every day of the week, offering genuine flexibility across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For those planning an evening visit, arriving earlier rather than later allows more time to settle into the relaxed atmosphere without feeling rushed toward closing. Reservations are worth considering, particularly for groups or during Bangkok's peak travel season between November and February. Visitor Reviews
A really nice surprise in the heart of Bangkok. My wife and I were led here by other positive Google reviews and we were not disappointed. This is actually our second visit within a week. The Mediterranean dishes were very well prepared: great flavours, not over-seasoned and very fresh. The herbs and spices make the meat dishes surprisingly fresh and light, and we ordered quite a bit! The restaurant is nicely appointed and the ambiance was calm, casual and inviting. Not too loud, we found we could easily have conversations but the restaurant was lively enough to bring some excitement to the experience. The staff were excellent. They were very attentive and made sure to ask about and accommodate our allergies and preferences. They offered us gluten free options, so this was perfect for us. Overall very friendly and we could see the extra effort they put in to make the experience enjoyable for all diners. We would highly recommend for something different in Bangkok and we hope you'll be as pleasantly surprised as we were.
Came here with my team and sampled countless appetizers and entrees with wine. Everything for the most part was quite tasty and the service was top notch. The pasta was a bit underwhelming but the Mediterranean was delish!
Everything was amazing! The staff, the food, the atmosphere were top tier! Our server always checked up on us and made sure everything was ok! I would definitely recommend and will return in the future!

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
