Eathai
Tucked into the basement of Central Embassy on Thanon Phloen Chit, Eathai is a premium food court concept that brings together a wide range of Thai cuisines and street food vendors under one roof. Rather than a single restaurant, it operates as a curated hall where diners move between different stalls — from classic Thai curries to regional specialties — making it a practical and enjoyable way to sample multiple dishes in a single visit. The surrounding basement level also houses a large supermarket, which is particularly useful for picking up local snacks, condiments, and gifts to take home. The atmosphere leans upscale for a food court, with comfortable seating and a cleaner, more polished setting than a typical street-side option. Pricing reflects the premium location and concept, running slightly higher than street food but reasonable given the central address and air-conditioned comfort. Crowds tend to build during lunchtime, so arriving outside of peak hours generally means shorter queues at the cashier and easier access to seating. A practical note on payment: Eathai uses a centralised payment system where diners order from various stalls and settle the bill when leaving, so it is worth keeping track of purchases throughout the visit. The food court is open every day from 10:00am to 9:30pm and is easily reached via the BTS Skytrain at Phloen Chit station, which connects directly to Central Embassy.

Visitor Reviews
To summarized, this is a fancy Thai food court. The food was great. I enjoyed the chicken curry. The place was not very crowded as well, so it's very chill. The price was a bit more expensive than usual Thai food court. Also, you will be charged a service fee (I think 5%) when you pay as well, which makes it more expensive. Nevertheless, recommended to try!
A great food court with shopping and just buy and eat all you want and pay when leaving, can be crowded during lunch hours with people lining up at the cashiers though.
Reasonable price consider its location, varieties of food option. Surprising very less crowd. Literally no wait for food order, plenty of seats/ tables. It’s inside the central embassy atas shopping mall, at its LG level. Very clean table, they will provide you kind of credit card with bar code on it, with 1000baht limit. You just need to scan that bar code when ordering foods inside. There will be additional 5% service charge. You do not need to return the tray or clean the table after dine. That’s the fee you paid for the 5% I guess. Just like the open space restaurant concept. Few Michelin recommended stall I guess

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
