Saming Phuket Old town
Tucked into the historic streets of Phuket Old Town, this bar and pub draws a genuine mix of locals and travellers with its live music program spanning both Thai and English songs. The atmosphere leans authentically local rather than tourist-facing, making it a solid alternative to the more polished beach resort nightlife further afield. Light snacks such as french fries are available alongside a range of drinks and cocktails, so it works equally well as a pre-dinner stop or a late-night destination. The venue runs seven days a week from 10 AM to 2 AM, giving visitors plenty of flexibility regardless of their schedule. The old town location also makes it easy to pair with an evening spent exploring the area's Sino-Portuguese architecture and independent restaurants before settling in for the night. Worth noting: a small number of visitors have raised concerns about billing practices, so it pays to clarify drink orders and pricing before anything is poured. Arriving earlier in the evening tends to mean a more relaxed experience before the crowd builds, and the surrounding streets are well served by motorbike taxis and ride-hailing apps if you plan to stay until close.

Visitor Reviews
Five stars! No questions asked! Incredible live music, and just the absolute greatest vibes ever. The matron takes great care of the entire floor and gives personal service and everything is very reasonably priced. You must go here, hang out, and just feel what Phuket has to offer! Edit: came back again for dinner. I now officially want to move here! Go for their signature dishes. Absolutely incredible! Get the century egg dish!!!!
We came in here for a quick drink st the end of the night. It was full of locals, with great local Thai music and atmosphere. It felt like the place the Phuket residents would go themselves. The live performers we saw were absolutely great. Nice cocktails also.
Good vibe and so much fun. Live music is the best of both Thai and English songs ! Service was great and there were a variety of drinks and cocktails. It was such a wonderful time before leaving Phuket. Definitely recommend and don't miss it!

Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
