Kongsiam Live Music Bar
Tucked along Soi Chao Koh in Ao Nang, this live music bar has built a loyal following around its resident singer, who regularly draws visitors back for second and third nights. Reviewers consistently single out the performer by name — praising his ability to sing, entertain, and interact with the crowd in a way that turns a casual evening drink into a highlight of the trip. During peak periods like New Year, the atmosphere reportedly reaches a level where the whole bar sings along together. The setting is casual and social, typical of Krabi's beachside nightlife strip. It works well as an early-evening spot or a late-night destination, though the experience is clearly at its best when the live music is in full swing. Visitors arriving early or outside of performance hours may find the bar fairly low-key, so timing matters here more than at most venues. Good to know: Soi Chao Koh has several bars and restaurants clustered together, making it easy to grab dinner nearby before settling in. Since opening hours and performance schedules are not advertised online, it is worth asking at your accommodation or simply heading down in the evening when the strip comes to life. Most hotels in Ao Nang are within easy reach of the area on foot or by a short taxi ride.

Visitor Reviews
The lead singer is genius 👏 He sings, he entertains, he interacts with the crowd. Awesome!
This place had the best vibe during the new year celebration of 2026. The whole bar was singing and it made the trip memorable. We went there 2 days in a row and it was equally lively. Recommended if you’re looking to groove to some pop / rock music
Please give me the name or Instagram of the guy who sings here every night!! He’s fantastic and we had such a nice time because of him 🫶 much love
Tips for Visiting Nightlife & Bars
Carry Your Passport or a Copy
Clubs and some bars check IDs strictly, especially in Bangkok's Thonglor, RCA, and Sukhumvit areas. A photo of your passport info page on your phone usually works, but carrying a laminated photocopy is safer.
Know the Closing Times
Legal closing time is 2 AM for most venues, though enforcement varies. In Bangkok's designated entertainment zones (RCA, Silom Soi 2/4, Khao San), some clubs stay open until 4 AM. Islands tend to be more relaxed about hours.
Buy Bucket Drinks Cautiously
Island bucket drinks (mixed spirits in a small bucket) are cheap and fun but notoriously strong and inconsistent. Stick to one, stay hydrated, and never leave your drink unattended at beach parties.
