Premium Outlet Phuket

3.6(4,334 reviews)

Situated in Tambon Ko Kaeo in central Phuket, Premium Outlet Phuket is a shopping centre bringing together multiple branded clothing and accessories stores under one roof. Discounts of at least 20% are common across stores, and the mall includes a food court and ample parking, making it a convenient stop for travellers with time to fill between other activities. Expectations are worth calibrating before visiting. Reviewers note that the outlet feels quieter and somewhat dated compared to larger Phuket shopping destinations like Central Festival, and prices are not always dramatically lower than standard retail. The selection suits casual browsers more than dedicated bargain hunters, and the atmosphere is relaxed rather than bustling. That said, visitors looking for a low-pressure shopping stop with a reasonable spread of brands will find it functional and easy to navigate. The mall opens daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, including weekends, which fits most travel schedules. Weekday mornings tend to be noticeably quieter, offering a more relaxed experience. The central location is accessible from most parts of Phuket, and the on-site parking makes it straightforward for those travelling by rental car or scooter. Check the mall's website at outletmallthailand.com for any current store listings or promotions before making a dedicated trip.

Visitor Reviews

A small ‘premium’ outlet. We didn’t have high expectation as we were just driving around town to kill a couple hours. There are several stores. All of them offered at least 20% discount. The Disney store offered 80-90% discount - the most discount I have ever seen at Disney store. Overall, the place looked okay, but it could have been better. We visited it in the middle of the day on a weekday, and it was raining, so it’s almost empty. If you spent 8,000 baht or more, you can present all receipts to get a tote.

Many different branded cloth shops are present in this place. Plenty parking space and nice place for shopping. Food courts are available.

Needs an Update – Better for a Quick Stop Than a Shopping Trip The Phuket Premium Outlet is an okay shopping destination, but it currently feels outdated and doesn't quite measure up to places like Central Festival. The overall appearance is starting to show its age, and a number of the stores appear to be struggling, lacking the investment in presentation you’d expect from an outlet center. While there are frequent sales and promotions, many of the current tenants are not particularly interesting, and there is noticeable vacancy throughout the center. It can serve its purpose if you need a quick stop to browse a few specific brands or grab a quick item. However, if you are planning a full-day shopping excursion or need to find a wide variety of quality goods, I would strongly recommend heading to Central Festival instead, as it offers a much better and more modern experience.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls

Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.

Arrive Early or Late

Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.

Be Cautious with Tailors

Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
