ตลาดน้ำเหล่าตั๊กลัก (ปากคลองลัดพลี)Lao Tuk Luck floating market
Tucked behind the more commercialised Damnoen Saduak floating market, Lao Tuk Luck is considered by many visitors to be the oldest and most authentic floating market in the Ratchaburi area. Vendors sell fresh fruits, vegetables, clothing, handicrafts, and locally prepared food from wooden boats along the canal, with an artist space and small museum also on site. The atmosphere is lively without the overwhelming tourist crowds of larger nearby markets, offering a more grounded look at traditional Thai canal commerce. Visitors can expect a mix of boat-based vendors and waterside stalls, with the option to float along the rows of sellers on a traditional Thai boat — an experience that forms a highlight for many who come here. Food and drinks are readily available, and souvenir shopping is part of the appeal. The market is genuinely commercial in character, but the water-based setting and traditional format distinguish it from land-based shopping centres. Good to know: The market operates seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with early morning the most active and photogenic time to visit. The location is roughly 100 kilometres from central Bangkok, with journey times of approximately one to one-and-a-half hours. Some visitors report being quoted high boat tour prices on arrival, so it is worth negotiating or confirming costs before committing. Weekday visits generally mean smaller crowds and a more local feel.

Visitor Reviews
Great place if you want to experience authentic floating market. Yes, absolutely everything here is commercial, but it's the experience you pay for. Floating along the rows of vendors on a Thai traditional long boat (if it's your type, take the motor powered one!). The food and souvenirs are amazing. I will be surprised if you don't bring something home from the market. Absolutely must visit if you have the time, you will not regret it! Hope this helps 🙏
Very cute floating market. Our tour stopped here for us to try the food and drinks and explore the souvenir shops. This is the original floating market among all the other ones that are in that vicinity. Coconut ice cream around 50 baht, cold coconut fruit/water around 30 baht, coconut pancakes 40 baht for 6-8 small pieces, pad thai ~ 100 baht. All cash. Bring enough money with you.
While you come to Damnoensaduak floating market. Just come to the back side of that commercial market, and you'll find local and oldest floating market in Rajburi area. Artist space and museum are also placed here. Lots of parking at this market on both side of canal

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
