Ao Nang LandMark Beach
Situated along the Nopparat Thara shoreline in Ao Nang, Krabi, this beach offers a noticeably calmer atmosphere than the busier main beach nearby. With less longboat traffic and fewer crowds, it attracts visitors looking for a more relaxed stretch of coastline without straying far from Ao Nang's established amenities. The sand is firm underfoot, making it well suited for walking and running along the shore, and the water is generally clean and relatively shallow, which visitors have noted is home to small bubble crabs along the tideline. The beach is particularly popular for early morning walks, when the air is cool, breezy, and quiet. A paved path runs along the shoreline with benches available at regular intervals, some covered for shade. Street parking is accessible nearby, making it easy to reach by car or motorbike. Sunsets viewed from this stretch of beach are a consistent highlight for those who visit in the early evening. Good to know: The beach sits close to a main road, so some traffic noise is noticeable, particularly during busier parts of the day. Early morning visits around 8am offer the most peaceful experience with cooler temperatures and minimal foot traffic. The dry season running from November through April brings the calmest seas and most reliable weather, though the beach remains accessible year-round. Sun protection is essential given the intensity of the tropical sun, even on overcast days.

Visitor Reviews
99.99 % clean, great super quite 8am walks. Breezy and bright, you will love the walks here. This one from my place is 3km there and 3km back. Coupled with this and the other Ao Nang beach you can get a good 10km AM peaceful walk. Add the Monkey trail and you got a good 12km walk including the cardio steps up and down + rtn, to the next beach. Good daily exercise or a long stroll. You can choose the exercise on the several Ao Nang beach walks.
Awesome beach that stretches for quite a ways. There are benches (some covered) all along the walk path.theres lots of street parking. Lots of sand and beach area to claim and chill. There area is pretty clean and the water is clear but cloudy. The cliffs and islands in the distance are breathtaking. I love this beach. It’s a great place not to be missed. Highly recommended
It's a very nice beach for taking a walk or running. The sand is firm, so you won't sink into it. The sunsets are stunning here. A very relaxing place overall. You can also park your car or motorbike just about anywhere without issues. And right next to the beach there are also a lot of restaurants.

Tips for Visiting Beaches & Islands
Check Monsoon Seasons
The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) has rough seas from May to October. The Gulf coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan) is roughest from October to December. Plan your island-hopping around these windows.
Snorkel Gear Is Cheap to Buy
Rental gear is often scratched and ill-fitting. Buy a decent mask and snorkel at a Tesco Lotus or Big C for 300–500 THB — cheaper than two days of rentals and much more hygienic.
Book Ferries on 12Go.Asia
The 12Go platform lets you compare ferry operators, times, and prices between islands. Book a day or two ahead in high season. Avoid the cheapest operators if reviews mention safety concerns.
