Cape Beach Villas Koh Samui
Tucked away at the end of a quiet road in the Mae Nam district of Koh Samui, Cape Beach Villas is a boutique beachfront villa resort that consistently earns praise for its combination of seclusion, natural beauty, and attentive personal service. The resort sits directly on a stunning stretch of beach, complete with sun loungers and crystal-clear water, making it well suited to travellers seeking a peaceful, unhurried escape from busier parts of the island. Guests stay in spacious, privately designed villas that are noted for their generous proportions, high-quality finishes, and strong sense of privacy. An on-site restaurant serves food to a consistently high standard, and the staff are frequently highlighted in visitor feedback for their warmth and care throughout a stay. The overall atmosphere leans toward calm and intimate rather than resort-style busy, appealing to couples, families, and anyone looking to genuinely unwind. Given the resort's secluded location — reached by continuing past the Mimosa Hotel to the end of the road — arriving by taxi or scooter is the most practical option. The resort operates around the clock, and given its small size and strong reputation, booking well in advance is advisable, particularly during the high season between December and March when Koh Samui's Gulf Coast experiences its driest and calmest weather.

Visitor Reviews
Perfect place to unwind! We spent 2 nights here and wished we could have stayed longer! The rooms: we stayed in Villa Coco which was huge and generous in every way. The specification is very high end - including a wine fridge, steamer, and Dyson hair dryer. Bed super comfortable as well. The hotel: the design of the entire hotel is beautiful and boho chic. Every detail even the umbrellas on the beach is lovely and thought through. The infinity pool overlooks the beach and is super clean and just the right temperature. Service is better than in any luxury hotel I’ve stayed in - we asked for an umbrella by the pool and someone moved it around once an hour to make sure we’re still in the shade! The beach: it’s a public beach but with private sun beds just for hotel guests (which the staff guard fiercely from external non- hotel guests). The setting is lovely and sea is beautiful with gentle waves and not too much boat traffic. The beach was quite busy when we were here but it’s also the busiest time a year so probably usually more quiet. The food: breakfast was lovely, a la carte and everything prepared fresh. We had dinner at the beach club one night and it was great quality too. Overall: beautiful experience, great value for money, would definitely recommend!
We had an amazing stay at this hotel and truly loved every moment. The location is unreal, with a stunning beach and a very peaceful atmosphere. Everything is exceptionally clean. The villa, the pool, and the entire territory are perfectly maintained. The staff are absolutely incredible. Friendly, caring, and always ready to help. When I got sick during our stay, the team immediately provided medicine, helped organize a taxi to the hospital, advised where to go, and genuinely took great care of me. The restaurant and beach bar near the hotel offer delicious food at very good prices. The Thai cuisine is outstanding, and there is also a nice selection of international dishes. We also loved the New Year’s event. There was a tasty buffet, a great atmosphere, and a romantic setup right on the beach. The traditional Thai dance performed by the staff was especially beautiful and made the evening truly memorable ❤️ The hotel is perfect for couples and families, with a beautiful area, a great pool, and a very warm, welcoming feeling. The level of service is truly five-star.
This hotel is an absolute gem. The villas are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer a sense of privacy and luxury that makes the stay feel truly special. Set right on a stunning beach with crystal-clear water and soft sand, the location is beautiful and incredibly relaxing. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff—every single person was warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive, always going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. From seamless check-in to thoughtful little touches throughout our stay, everything was handled with care. A perfect destination for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting with exceptional service.

Tips for Visiting Beaches & Islands
Check Monsoon Seasons
The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) has rough seas from May to October. The Gulf coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan) is roughest from October to December. Plan your island-hopping around these windows.
Snorkel Gear Is Cheap to Buy
Rental gear is often scratched and ill-fitting. Buy a decent mask and snorkel at a Tesco Lotus or Big C for 300–500 THB — cheaper than two days of rentals and much more hygienic.
Book Ferries on 12Go.Asia
The 12Go platform lets you compare ferry operators, times, and prices between islands. Book a day or two ahead in high season. Avoid the cheapest operators if reviews mention safety concerns.
