Ramayana Water Park
Ramayana Water Park is one of the largest water parks in Southeast Asia, set across a sprawling complex in the Na Chom Thian area south of Pattaya. The park draws families and thrill-seekers alike with a wide range of attractions, including high-speed water slides, a wave pool, dedicated children's zones, and standout rides such as the Aqua Coaster and Python. The grounds are consistently praised for being clean and well-maintained, and the staff are widely noted for being helpful and organised in managing the crowds. The atmosphere is lively but structured, with the park running operations in an orderly fashion that keeps things moving smoothly even on busy days. A floating market adds a cultural touch to the experience, and the variety of attractions means there is genuinely something for different ages and comfort levels. Food options are available on-site, though some visitors feel this is an area with room for improvement. A few practical points worth knowing: the park is located a fair distance from central Pattaya and most major tourist sites, so arranging transport in advance is advisable. The park is open daily from 11:00 to 18:00, with Wednesday being the only closed day. Booking tickets in advance through the official website at ramayanawaterpark.com often unlocks discounted rates, which can make a notable difference to the overall cost of a visit.

Visitor Reviews
Had an absolutely wonderful day at Ramayana Water Park! What really mattered to us was the variety and thrill of the rides — especially the Aqua Coaster and Python, which were pure fun for the family. The park itself wasn’t too crowded, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Every staff member greeted us with smile and genuine warmth. A special shout‑out to Bernie, who went above and beyond in taking care of my 70‑plus‑year‑old mom — our queen of the day! He made sure she could join us comfortably, even waiving her entry fee and refunding her ticket, something we deeply appreciated. It turned into a precious family moment that we’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommend Ramayana for anyone looking for a clean, fun, and caring water park experience. Thank you again, Bernie and the Ramayana team, for making our day so special! Some pics that made us feel cared for!
Amazing water park, staff is very helpful. Make sure you book in advance onll their website to get special rate. The location is considered far from any major attraction site, therefore make you book your return in advance as taxis outside will take advantage of that and charge you 500 or more to drop you back to your hotel. The water park itself is fun, we had amazing time with the family. You have to charge up your wristband to buy any food or beverage on site. Food and drink (except water) is not allowed in the water park Overall, good times for kids and adults.
An entertaining place for a day for whoever have never been in a water park. It's a big area to walk around and something to do for everyone. They run the park very organized which also means they know how to make money. You pay admission and must walk in thru their souvenir shop. Next stop they want to sell you lockers for a couple hundred bath day. Once you're in the park where the action is, lounge chairs are free. Cabanas cost you around 1000 bath! No food, drinks, not even a water bottle can be brought into the park. They will search your bag! Food, beverages, ice cream and else is available in different concession stands. Prices are mediocre, at least they won't charge you and arm and a leg. Most people are Russians and some other foreigners. There's not too many Asians. All pools and water slides have no heated water. On a cool and cloudy day it may feel a bit chilly. Once the sun is out, it's ok. At the slides, their own photographers will take pictures of you. When you exit, your pictures can be viewed and printed for 400 bath a piece! The park closes at 6 pm. Taxis and Bolt rides will charge you double going back to Pattaya! At 5 pm there will be some Tuk Tuks lining up at the Exit. 100 bath per person for your drop off in Pattaya. They are reasonable priced and do a good job!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
