Pai River Bridge
Situated along the river in Pai's Mae Hi district, this spot functions primarily as a campsite and budget accommodation option rather than a conventional bridge attraction. Visitors can pitch a tent or rent space in a large shared tent, with mattresses and blankets provided. The riverside setting is the clear draw — shaded by trees, dotted with hammocks, and carrying the relaxed pace that Pai is known for. Accommodation options are notably affordable, with some guests reporting rates as low as 75 to 100 baht per person per night. The grounds are spacious, and the hammocks and seating areas make it an easy place to slow down and spend a few hours or an overnight stay. Facilities include toilets and showers, though reviews suggest these vary in quality and the overall site has an unfinished, work-in-progress feel in places. Travellers looking for a polished or well-maintained guesthouse experience may find this falls short of expectations. However, for budget-conscious visitors who prioritise location, outdoor atmosphere, and low cost over facilities, it offers reasonable value. Given the mixed feedback on amenities, it is worth arriving with modest expectations regarding bathrooms and room condition. Checking in during the dry season — roughly November to April — will make the most of the outdoor setting.

Visitor Reviews
Just chilling is very nice here
It's a nice big campsite. Very chilled and it's right on the river. Plenty of seating and hammocks to relax in. We paid 75 baht each for 8 people in a huge tent. Comfy mattresses and blankets were provided so it was still comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the showers and toilets. The floor was concrete mixed with large pebbles so not very flat. I had an issue with getting the shower started but the owner soon helped. Toilet paper wasn't provided. I'd recommend this to any groups of people who prefer to camp or save money.
Great place to camp. Large ground to camp, lots of tress at the sides. Clean toilets with hot shower bath. 100tbh per nite for a person.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
