Lanta Yoga
Nestled in Saladan on the north end of Koh Lanta, this open-air yoga studio offers a surprisingly tranquil retreat despite its position close to the main road. The natural setting — with birdsong, surrounding trees, and a sheltered practice shed — creates an atmosphere that visitors consistently describe as serene and jungle-like, making it a genuine escape from the bustle of the island. Classes are led by instructor Caroline, who blends vinyasa and hatha styles into flowing sessions that incorporate sun salutations alongside held poses. The teaching approach suits a wide range of experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners, and sessions vary enough that repeat visitors find each class worthwhile. Caroline's attentiveness — including remembering students by name — contributes to a welcoming, personal atmosphere that sets this studio apart from more anonymous fitness settings. For those planning a visit, it is worth noting that specific opening hours and booking details are not listed online, so reaching out in advance or stopping by in person to confirm the class schedule is advisable. Arriving with your own water and wearing light, breathable clothing suited to a tropical climate is recommended. Given the open-air structure, early morning classes are likely to be the most comfortable before the midday heat sets in. The studio is located at 557 Saladan, making it accessible for travellers staying in the northern part of Koh Lanta.

Reviews from Google
Caroline gave such an amazing class today. It was like a mix between vinyasa and hatha yoga where you have a sun salutation but also have to hold poses. Stunning setting with birds chirping and trees moving with the wind. At first I was worried I would be too warm at a 9am class, but the breezed and fans kept me at perfect temperature. Left the place floating and was hoping I could go back before leaving Koh Lanta on Sunday, but no more classes until Monday. Definitely visit for a lovely class and experience.
Lanta Yoga is great! I went there five times while staying on the Island. It does not matter if you are a beginner or a pro. Caroline is a very friendly and open person who remembers all the names of the participants. I had injured my knee and could not do all the poses, but she always showed me alternative poses that I could do. Also the location is beautiful. Highly recommended! :)

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
