SoulFitness Studio Koh Lanta

5.0(209 reviews)

Tucked away on the laid-back island of Koh Lanta in Krabi Province, this boutique wellness studio has built a strong reputation for its guided breathwork sessions and ice bath experiences. Instructor Sandra is frequently highlighted in visitor feedback for her calm, thorough approach — walking first-timers through each stage of the ice bath process and creating a genuinely supportive atmosphere for those new to cold therapy or breathwork practices. The studio also offers yoga classes, making it a well-rounded destination for travellers looking to weave meaningful wellness experiences into their time on the island. The setting works in its favour. Koh Lanta moves at a slower pace than Thailand's busier resort islands, and the studio leans into that energy. Several visitors have combined sessions here with a walk down to the nearby beach directly afterward, making for a natural and rewarding morning routine. Both beginners and more experienced practitioners are catered for, and the studio accommodates solo travellers as well as couples. Good to know: Koh Lanta's dry season runs from November to April, which is the most reliable time to visit. The island is reached by ferry from the mainland or neighbouring islands, so factor in travel time when planning. Class sizes can be limited, and given the studio's popularity, booking sessions in advance is strongly recommended — particularly during the peak season months of December through February.

My partner and I joined an ice bath and breathwork session with the beautiful Sandra while we were on Koh Lanta for just four days, and honestly, it was one of the highlights of our entire stay. If only we’d found it on our first day - it’s something we would have done every single morning. 🌅 Sandra is wholesome, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. The session went far beyond what we were expecting. We learned so much about the importance of breathwork, the role of spirituality, and how powerful it is when breathwork is combined with an ice bath. I’ve done ice baths before, but never alongside guided breathwork like this; the difference was profound. The facilities are very well maintained and beautifully set up. The ice baths themselves were the nicest we’ve experienced, overlooking the ocean with a stunning view that made the whole experience even more special. At just 500 Thai baht per person, it’s incredibly reasonable given the length and quality of the session, amazing value for what you receive. We left feeling completely refreshed, renewed, and genuinely educated on the subject of breathwork. Sandra also offers a multitude of different classes, all of which we would have loved to try if we’d had more time on the island. This place is a real gem. If you want to leave feeling grounded, energised, and inspired, this experience is an absolute must. An incredible offering on Koh Lanta — highly, highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best place in Koh Lanta for ice baths guided by professionals and at a great price. I discovered this beautiful studio while looking for a place to practice yoga during my 10 days in Koh Lanta. It’s located right in front of Khlong Dao Beach which is perfect for enjoying the ocean view or sunset during your practice. Besides yoga, they also offer functional training, breathwork, and ice baths. I took the 5-class package to experience a bit of everything. I loved the Vinyasa Yoga with Pam, who helped me improve my postures. Sandra, the owner, is amazing! she guided the breathwork and ice bath sessions, giving real meaning to the experience. After my first ice bath, I felt full of energy and noticed faster recovery from my Muay Thai training. It turned out to be not just physical recovery, but also an emotional and healing experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking to connect with your body, mind, and breath in a unique way!

I took a variety of classes here over the course of a week, centered around breathwork in September. As others have mentioned, the ice baths are a highly valuable resource. They have larger baths available if you’re taller/bigger, so no worries about being fully submerged. I learned how breath can be quantified using their breath IQ test, as well as different techniques (like wim hof or analogues to psychedelic/holotropic breathing) Come stop by for a visit!

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas

Learn Wat Pho First

Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.

Communicate Pressure Preferences

Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.

Book Longer Sessions

A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
