Bang Wa BTS Station
Bang Wa serves as the western terminus of the BTS Silom Line, making it a key node in Bangkok's urban rail network. Its primary significance lies in its interchange connection with the MRT Blue Line, allowing passengers to transfer between the two systems and access a wide range of destinations across the city, including the Southern Bus Terminal and Mo Chit. The station is operated under the Bangkok Mass Transit System and runs efficient, clean, and punctual services from early morning through to midnight. Compared to busier inner-city BTS stations, Bang Wa has a noticeably quieter atmosphere with light passenger traffic. Facilities are minimal — there are no ATMs inside the station, and food and drink vendors are largely absent, with only occasional pre-packaged food available on the platform level. A Cafe Amazon outlet is located nearby outside the station for those needing refreshments. Good to know: the first train departs at 05:30 and the last at midnight. Travellers connecting to long-distance bus services at the Southern Bus Terminal will find this station a practical starting point. Anyone requiring cash or snacks should stock up before arriving, as in-station amenities are limited. The station is accessible and well-signed for transfers to the MRT Blue Line.

Visitor Reviews
HIGH QUALITY TRAIN SERVICE: Almost everything is right about the train functioning here in Bangkok. Timely, efficient, clean, affordable, you name it, it's mostly right. The lines have just expanded as of September 2019 and it's continuing to grow rapidly. DOWN SIDES: 1. Unavoidable Heavy Congestion at peak hours. 2. The loading ramps can be confusing and multi-level. 3. You'll need to locate a small map to keep on your person or you'll probably make mistakes. The signage is sometimes difficult to understand and sometimes just plain annoying. 4.Time trips according to rush hours, you do NOT want to be on the train during rush hours.
**First train at 05:30. Last train at 00:00** This is a major BTS station that will be one of the interchanges with the MRT. (The MRT is known as the subway system in Bangkok, but confusingly the line is above ground in this area.) As of May 2018, the MRT station is not yet open. However, the station looks almost completely built. This is the end of the BTS line, but more BTS stations should also be opening soon as well.
A huge BTS Station accessible to all interchange and the last station as well. Not so much people here , no vendors nor ATM machine in here unlike other BTS bunch of snacks and drinks so make sure you ate , you drink and you have enough cash to avoid problem. Some extension bridge are still close too.

Tips for Visiting Transportation
Take the Sleeper Train at Least Once
The Bangkok-to-Chiang Mai overnight train in a second-class sleeper berth is a bucket-list experience. Book at least a week ahead via 12Go.asia or at Hua Lamphong station. Upper berths are cheaper and have more headroom; lower berths have a window.
Use Grab Everywhere
Grab is the Uber of Southeast Asia and works across Thailand for cars, motorbike taxis, and even tuk-tuks in some cities. It eliminates haggling and provides fare estimates upfront. Load a Thai SIM or use eSIM to stay connected.
Rent Scooters Carefully
Always photograph the scooter's existing damage before riding off, and keep your passport — give a photocopy instead (some shops insist on the original; avoid these). Wear a helmet; police fine 500 THB for no helmet and accidents without one void insurance.
