ART Space by MOCA BANGKOK
Housed within the Four Seasons Hotel along the Chao Phraya River, ART Space by MOCA Bangkok is a contemporary art gallery that punches well above the weight of a typical hotel exhibition space. Affiliated with the Museum of Contemporary Art Bangkok, it presents rotating collections featuring Thai artists alongside international names, and past exhibitions have included major showcases such as a Bill Bensley retrospective. Entry is free to all visitors, regardless of whether they are staying at the hotel. The gallery is notably larger than most expect, and the riverside setting adds considerably to the experience. Lotus flowers bloom in the surrounding grounds, and calming ambient music flows through the space, creating an atmosphere that sets it apart from more conventional gallery visits. Exhibitions frequently include immersive or three-dimensional works, giving each visit a distinct character depending on when you go. On a practical note, the gallery sits in the Sathon district, which is a little removed from the main tourist corridors of central Bangkok, but it is conveniently close to an MRT station, making it straightforward to reach by public transport. Several dining options are available on site, and visitors often combine a meal or coffee at one of the riverside restaurants with time in the gallery. As opening hours are not listed publicly, it is worth checking the Bangkok River website or contacting the Four Seasons directly before making the trip.

Visitor Reviews
MOCA at Four Seasons has the best ambience amongst art galleries I’ve been to, lotus 🪷 flowers are blooming outside and calming music is flowing through the atmosphere. They always have a 3D art, which I appreciate contemplating on.
If you visit cafe or restaurants here you should visit the gallery, with free entry and some great art pieces by thai artists.
A great place to visit for art lovers — a bit far from the city center but quite close to an MRT station.
Tips for Visiting Temples & Culture
Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
