Phuket Airport Avenue
Tucked near Phuket Airport in the Sakhu area of Thalang District, this casual food court draws a predominantly local crowd — which tells you something useful straight away. It is the kind of place where a plate of pad see ew and an iced coffee costs 150 baht, and four dishes between travellers comes to little more than 300 baht. The food is straightforward, inexpensive Thai fare served quickly and without fuss. The atmosphere is decidedly no-frills. Visitors should not arrive expecting an air-conditioned dining room or an English-language menu. This is a working food court catering to locals, and the experience reflects that. When staff are in a good mood and the kitchen is on form, the results are genuinely satisfying. On quieter visits, the experience can be more hit-and-miss, and some reviewers note limited patience for non-Thai speakers. Good to know: this place works best as a budget pit stop — ideal for travellers who have just landed at Phuket Airport and want an authentic, affordable meal before heading further into the island. Opening hours are not publicly listed, so it is worth checking locally before making a special trip. Non-Thai speakers should go in with simple expectations, point at what looks good, and keep the order straightforward.

Visitor Reviews
Dont expect a fancy dinner here, this is where the locals come for their hungry fix. We had a delicious meal here with 4 dishes for 310 bath
Two delicious pad see ews and iced coffees for a total of 150 baht. Served quick and with a smile. Great value for such good quality food.
Standart airport. One minus, if you smoking, after security check in, not exist any smoking areas.
Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
