Daily Dose Phuket Old Town
Tucked along the shophouse-lined Yaowarad Road in Phuket Old Town, this well-regarded café draws both locals and travellers with its Western-leaning menu and relaxed, neighbourhood atmosphere. Signature dishes from visitor accounts include peanut butter pancakes topped with honeycomb, croissants filled with mushroom, brie and honey, and freshly prepared pasta dishes such as spaghetti with prawns and scallops — cooked in view of diners. The space has earned a strong reputation for friendly, attentive service and food that visitors consistently describe as well-balanced and carefully prepared. The café operates as a daytime-only venue, opening at 09:00 and closing at 18:00 every day of the week, making it a natural fit for breakfast, brunch, or a midday break while exploring the Old Town's heritage streets, Sino-Portuguese architecture, and nearby temples. The all-day hours provide flexibility, and its walkable location means it pairs easily with a broader wander through the historic district. A practical note for travellers with dietary requirements: at least one visitor has reported a miscommunication regarding a mushroom allergy, so those with allergies are advised to confirm their order carefully with staff before eating. Arriving early on weekends is a sensible idea, as the café's reputation and compact Old Town setting mean it can attract a steady flow of visitors during peak morning hours.

Visitor Reviews
We just left this establishment. My wife and I had spaghetti with prawns and scallops respectively which the chef prepared in front of us. We washed this down with nice cold Singha beers. Our child is fussy but he also enjoyed his chicken wraps. The contemporary jazz in the background made for a chilled atmosphere. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Overall I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Old Phuket town.
The food was amazing, best place we have been for breakfast in Thailand. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. I had the croissant with mushroom Brie and honey, and the flavour was perfect and the portion was the exact amount. Although I did want to order another. The fiancé had the ham and cheese omelette and tasted delicious. Highly recommend and will 100% returning.
Very friendly service, fair price for pure delightfulness. I had the peanut butter pancakes which are amazing. The little honeycomb sprinkle was a great touch. Coffee was perfect, would recommend if you’re in old Phuket

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
